Product Overview
An assortment of chrome-plated nylon insert locknut & hex nuts from The Hillman Group. Hex nuts are very common in general applications, especially deck and fence building. Nylon insert lock nuts are hexagonal nuts used with bolts and washers of the same material, finish, and grade. The interior nylon ring creates rotational resistance when displaced by a mating male threaded fastener, thus preventing loosening. The nylon insert also helps resist vibration and adds extra corrosion resistance. This assortment features variants ranging from #10-32 to 1/2"-20 in fine screw thread size. Full assortments of #944011 contain twelve (12) refills comprised of Hillman item numbers #940084 - #940090, #940035, #940036, #940038, #940041, and #940042.
