- Mounting screws hole distance is 6-9/16" (167 mm) center to center, the two included mounting screws are for doors 7/8" to 1" thick (oval head machine screw #10-24, 1.5" long)
- No drilling is required for replacement, some drilling may be required to convert non-locking handle set to this locking handle set
- Replacement surface mount patio door handle set, does not replace mortice handle sets
- Simple key lock, not high security. Add an Ideal SK110 Patio door security bar for increased security
- The key lock with spindle included is good for door 7/8" to 3.5" thick (See our included instructions). You can re-use your own longer screws if they are compatible 10-24 machine screws
- The SK800KBL is to replace a patio door handle with the exact same appearance and size as this. If your handle does not look like this, it may not fit
Product Overview
The 800 series patio door handle set by Ideal Security adds elegance to your patio door. Its soft round lines and smooth handle portion make opening the door more comfortable. The plastic locking button and screw covers provide a classic appearance. The handle is constructed from die cast zinc, and powder coat painted that provides long lasting durability. This replacement patio door handle set is for surface mount installation meaning that it’s installed on the face of the door, no cut out is required. The SK800KBL replaces a patio door handle with the exact same appearance and size as this. If your handle does not look like this, it may not fit. The distance between the screw holes is 6-9/16" (6.56" / 16.76 cm/167 mm). This handle will replace other surface mount installed handles that use the same screw hole distances. The SK800KBL includes the inside handle with concealed screw caps, the outside handle with key lock, the strike and mounting screws. The key lock is for convenience and is not high security. If you are looking for a no key outside handle, you also need to purchase the SK851-1E969 part available on the Ideal Security website.
