Scotch® High Performance Masking Tape 2693 is a smooth, heavy duty, mini-crepe paper masking tape suitable for most paint masking applications. It is designed for automotive, truck and bus applications where very aggressive room temperature and high temperature holding is required.Scotch High Performance Masking Tape 2693 offers excellent paint masking performance with high solid paints and urethane clear coats used in the transportation industry. The holding power resists the most stringent applications and bake cycles. It can be removed warm or cold from most surfaces without adhesive transfer. Scotch High Performance Masking Tape 2693 has a clean removal that can vary dependent on surface type, processing conditions and type of paint involved.
