3M™ Tabbing and Splicing Tape 5699 is designed for use with 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tapes. It consists of a silicone adhesive on a polyester backing.3M Tabbing and Splicing Tape 5699 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive-backed film that provides a strong bond to 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes. This tape provides a reliable means of liner removal in a production environment. It also provides high tack and good strength to liners and can be used for manual applications without special equipment. 3M Tabbing and Splicing Tape 5699 can be used to produce under tabs (by placing the tab between the liner and tape), resulting in a more robust tabbing solution.
