3M™ Cold Shrink EPDM 3/C Cable Breakout Boot 8551 has an outer diameter range of 0.43-0.72 in (11-18.5 mm) and helps to provide strain relief and environmental and mechanical protection for breakouts in multi-conductor armored or sheathed cables.3M Cold Shrink EPDM 3/C Cable Breakout Boots are a series of EPDM rubber sealing assemblies that are factory expanded and mounted on removable inner supporting plastic cores. They are supplied for field installation in a pre-stretched condition. The supporting cores are removed after the seal has been positioned for installation around the breakout area of a 3/C (three conductor) cable.
